OLLI at DU South Weather Policy
OLLI at DU South courses at Columbine United Church will be cancelled if the Littleton Public Schools are closed.
- Late Start: If the school district announces a late start, classes will be held as usual.
- In-service Days: If the school district is closed for in-service during a snow day, there would be no announcement on the news. In that event, check this website, olli.du.edu
We Need Facilitators to Teach our Classes
Our OLLI at DU South facilitators teach our courses and we would love more of you! While some facilitators have backgrounds in education/academia, many simply have an interest in a subject and want to share views with OLLI at DU members. We offer the opportunity to facilitate your classes once a week for 4-, 6-, or 8-week periods during one of our terms. The process to explore this opportunitiy is very simple. Volunteering is far more than simply doing a good deed. It can be a great way to re-purpose your skills, develop friendships, stay active, or add a spark to your routine.
When you share your time and talents, you’ll not only feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, but together we can connect with others, solve problems, and strengthen our OLLI at DU community!
Join our active OLLI at DU South volunteer community -- they are the heart of our organization. Raise your hand, get noticed, and let us know how you can help!
Some of the volunteer possibilities include; greeters, class assistants, event planner, event staff, assist with classroom setup and take down, photographer and ambassador.
