The Financial Advisory Group provides the OLLI at DU management team with a general management perspective on business strategy and operations, and their financial implications. It is intended to complement the expertise and accountability of the OLLI and DU management teams and financial staff. The overall purpose of this effort is to ensure the long term viability of OLLI at DU while delivering maximum value to Members.
The work of the Group has contributed to three main successful outcomes:
- After a couple of years of declining membership, we've seen a turnaround.
- Staff skills and mix are better able than ever to handle a diverse set of Member needs and preferences.
- Pricing levels and structure have been kept roughly in line with inflation, while encouraging growth in membership levels and participation.
