TRAIL WALKING: OH THE PLACES YOU’LL GO!

Be an OUTSIDER! Join Jan and other fun OUTSIDERS who love walking while learning about birds, animals, climate, history, geology and more from expert, entertaining guides followed by an optional lunch!

WHERE WE’LL GO: This description was submitted too early for the non-profits that lead our walks to commit for Spring, 2024. However, Jan is excited to share the following list of organizations and places being considered: Genesee Mountain Park, Dinosaur Ridge, Douglas Land Conservancy, Plains Conservation Center, Denver Audubon, Louviers, Highline Canal Conservancy, Bear Creek Lake Park, Castlewood Canyon, Roxborough & Staunton State Parks, Garden of the Gods.

TRAIL CONDITIONS: Trails are curated for OLLI’s population, rated “Easy” to “Moderate”, some roots & rocks, sometimes moderate elevation changes.

GETTING TO THE WALK SITE: Jan sends map links for each walk site. You may drive directly there or go to a designated meetup site to carpool or caravan to the walk site.

OPTIONAL LUNCH: A class favorite!
