Welcome to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Denver > SHARED INTEREST GROUPS (SIG)

SHARED INTEREST GROUPS (SIG)

We are excited to introduce you to a unique opportunity within our OLLI at DU community – Shared Interest Groups (SIGs)!

SIGs are an exciting perk designed to enrich your OLLI experience by bringing together members who share common interests. Whether you've taken an OLLI class in the past or are eager to explore a new topic or activity, SIGs offer a space to continue learning and growing in a member-driven environment.

What are SIGs?

SIGs are independent, self-managed groups that arise from the shared interests of our members. These groups are not structured like traditional courses; instead, they are established, managed, and operated entirely by OLLI members. Each SIG is coordinated by one or more volunteer members who take on administrative and communication responsibilities, ensuring the group runs smoothly.

Joining a SIG is a wonderful way to deepen connections with fellow OLLI members while exploring shared passions.  Explore our current SIGs by clicking on the tiles below.

If you'd like more information about SIGs, please contact Darcey Vanwagner at darcey.vanwagner@du.edu.
